FAQs

Everything manufacturers ask before expanding into Europe.

Straight answers on how we run your European operation, what it costs, and what stays yours.

The model

5 questions

We run European commercial operations for non-European product manufacturers. That means handling the sales relationships, the admin, the compliance, the logistics coordination, and the reporting. You focus on your product and your home market. We make your European business work.

A distributor buys your product and resells it, so they own the customer, the data and the margin — and take a significant share of your European revenue. We do the same commercial work in your name, for a flat monthly fee, with everything owned by you. The full model is on the European Distribution page.

A single hire is slow and expensive, and can't cover the whole commercial function — stock, compliance, dealers and after-sales — alone. We bring the entire operation, already built, for less than a senior European salary. See Europe in Six for what's included.

We work with non-European manufacturers of physical, brandable products sold through dealers and retail. We're broadly product-agnostic within that and assess fit on the discovery call — the question is whether your product can compete in Europe, not the category.

Yes. Without inventory on the ground there is no European business. Dealer relationships, returns management, and fulfilment do not work when your product is on another continent.

Pricing & fees

5 questions

A flat monthly retainer, scoped to your product and markets — and it's the only commercial arrangement, with no commission on any European revenue. We set the figure on the discovery call. Europe in Six covers what the retainer includes.

Trade show attendance is charged additionally. The day rate is $750 per day, split evenly across all clients F&S represents at the same event. Travel, accommodation, and stand costs are passed through at cost. All attendance is agreed in writing in advance.

If we need to visit a warehouse or fix something on the ground, travel is charged at cost. Everything else is included in the monthly fee.

A six-month minimum engagement. Either party can exit with 60 days notice at the end of the initial term. No commission overlay. No penalty for leaving. You stay because it is working, not because you are locked in.

No. None. F&S earns no commission on European sales revenue. Not on dealer sales, not on D2C, not on Amazon. The agreed monthly fee is the only commercial arrangement. You keep every dollar of European revenue.

Not directly. Amazon EU requires specialist expertise in listing optimisation, PPC, and A+ content. F&S sources and introduces a suitable Amazon agency or individual operator, then acts as the connection between that agency, the 3PL, and you. We earn no commission on Amazon sales. We stay out of your Amazon margin entirely.

The service

5 questions

Four pillars.

Admin and Infrastructure. Fiscal representation, VAT registration, 3PL selection and management, regulatory compliance coordination, and shipping route setup.

Sales and Account Management. Dealer development, key account management, quotation follow-up, and on-site dealer visits.

Reporting and Control. Monthly sales reports, stock tracking, quarterly forecasting, and live dashboards in your CRM.

Returns, Repairs and Warranties. Returns coordination, warranty tracking, repair network management, and replacement unit coordination.

F&S is the single point of contact for all European returns. Returns are processed through the 3PL, logged, and fed into the monthly report. Defective units are inspected, logged, and replaced or refunded. If a pattern emerges that suggests a product issue, we flag it to you directly.

We handle it — that's the point of an operator on the ground. From a labelling issue at the 3PL to a dealer going quiet, we deal with it in your name; if a fix needs travel, we charge travel at cost. How the ongoing operation works is set out on Europe in Six.

No. F&S does not manage social media, paid advertising, PR, email marketing, or any marketing activity.

What we do: provide market intelligence that informs your marketing decisions. We tell you what is working in Europe, what competitors are doing, and what dealers are saying about your brand. You or your marketing team act on it.

F&S does not manage affiliate programmes or creator relationships. That sits within marketing, and marketing sits outside our core operation and is available only as an optional add-on.

What we do: based on your product and market, we will tell you whether an affiliate or creator programme is worth pursuing and what a good one looks like in your category and territory. We brief your marketing team or agency on what works in the European market and who the relevant creators are. The execution sits with you.

The guarantees

1 question

Yes — three. Building Block: your core European infrastructure is built, or a 50% refund after month three. On the Board: a first dealer purchase order before your stock arrives, or we work for free until we deliver it. Five in 60: five dealer orders within 60 days of stock landing, or we work for free until we do. Full terms are on Europe in Six.

Data & control

4 questions

You do, always. Every dealer contact, customer record and sale sits in a CRM you own from day one; we operate inside it as a processor and hold no copies. If you leave, you keep everything and we remove ourselves within 14 days. More on the Your Data page.

F&S removes itself from your systems within 14 days of termination and confirms in writing that no client data is retained. You keep all dealer contacts, customer records, and commercial assets built during the engagement. No penalty. No commission overlay. Clean exit.

No. F&S never holds exclusive distribution rights. You retain all commercial relationships and the freedom to change operator at any time within the contract terms. You stay because it is working, not because you are locked in.

Yes. Everything F&S logs sits in your CRM. Live dashboard, monthly reports, dealer contacts, pipeline: all of it is accessible to you at any time. The monthly report we use internally is the same document you receive. Full visibility. No summaries. No spin.

Getting started

A 30-minute discovery call — no preparation needed. We learn your product and goals and tell you honestly whether Europe makes sense now. Before signing, we review your pricing and margins to check the product can compete in Europe. Book a call to start.

A free copy of How to Enter Europe for Under €5,000. Real costs, real providers, no fluff. Covers fiscal representation, 3PL setup, and banking. We send it before the discovery call so you know the real infrastructure numbers before we speak.

From signed contract to first commercial activity is typically 30 days. Fiscal representation, 3PL setup, CRM onboarding, and initial dealer outreach all happen in that window. The first monthly report follows at day 37.

All of Europe. F&S does not operate with a fixed market list. Within the first 72 hours of signing we deliver a full European market intelligence report covering your category, your competitors, and where the real opportunity sits. Market prioritisation is one of the first things we lock down. The operation follows from that.
